It is much easier to take risks when there is no real cash involved, and the risky strategies you practice will be harder to use with real money. This usually results in poor decisions made on the spur of the moment and ‘strategy hopping’ where you are constantly switching from one plan to another. Losses are almost inevitable in this situation.

So, it can be better for you training to use a mini account and real funds from the start. A demo account would only be used for a few initial trades to get used to the trading platform. In this way you are likely to learn strategies that can work for you in the long term. You will also need the best forex software.
